Three naturalists cheering suggests this is an important butterfly sighting. Just inside the Triglav National Park in the Slovenian Alps. The picture above is the Apollo butterfly differentiated from the Clouded Apollo by weight of its red spots.
This is a first sighting for David in these hills so that’s a spot worth celebrating.
